[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington looks out upon with icy wastes. "Looks like the weather is starting to pick up. We're going to have to finish this patrol quick and head back to base."

Galen nodded. "It's going to be a big storm. No one wants to be caught in that.""

[Soren Haicen]

Soren was along as well riding his own taun taun. His eyes were open to their surroundings as he kept his eyes on the surrounding terrain as well as the coming storm.

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington brings his tauntaun to a stop and checks the sensors. He makes some adjustments to account for the weather. "Is everyone's equipment working properly? I can make adjustments if you need."

"Sure, thanks Rem." Jo'ren accepted the mechanical wizardry and moved off to scout ahead on his tauntaun. There was a rock and ice fall up ahead blocking the path, so he jumped off the creature and began to clear it.

A bit of manual labour was good for the soul. Also it helped that his muscles were huge. It didn't take long to clear their route and he was quickly back in the saddle.

"Best we keep it up then." Soren agreed as they continued forward, until they found themselves hedged in by some icy cliffs. AHoping off his tauntaun the Mercenary quickly scaled up to to find a good route part the cliffs so that they could contineu their patrols.

As they rose to a higher position, Galen's focus was on the approaching storm.

"That's going to be the worse one we've seen and it's coming in fast. It's a good thing we got this patrol in now."

Not sure what , if anything, to do with the Triumph.

"Glad that you guys came along. Made this go by pretty easily." Remmington finishes the adjustments and starts putting his equipment away.


/ How about using the Triumph to find a pirate cache that we can take back to help the base? Or maybe find some more survivors?

"It was a good ride." Galen agreed, patting the neck of his tauntaun. As he lewned forward, he spotted something in the snow. "Are those, droid feet?"

Survivors might be a bit weird after the time that's past since Day 1, unless it was a droid or something. So, finding some valuables stashed away might be best. Actually, a gonk droid would be fun.

Remmington takes a look with his scanner goggles. "You're right. We should see if just feet or the whole thing." He goes to help dig out the potential droid.

[Soren Haicen]

"It have any markings on it?" Soren asked, keeping his eyes open to the surrondings as some of the others went to dig up a droid. "Would be good to know who it belonged to in the first place."

[Galen Panteer]

"It looks like it's taken some damage." Galen said as they begun to dig it out. "And, it's been out here for a while. Hard to tell which ship it might have come from. I think it's a gonk."

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington looks the droid over as they continue to dig it out. "Hmm... yeah. These things are so common and massed produced there is no telling who it belonged to."

He looks over the damage with his goggles. "The damage doesn't seem too bad but better to do the repairs back at base. I'm a little surprised that it survived the wreckage in space."

[Galen Panteer]

"It might have been in an escape pod." he shrugged. "Made its way here until it collapsed."

[Remmington Balmung]

"Probably the most likely." Remmington looks around after they finish digging up the droid.

"Do you guys think we can just strap that to the back of one of the tauntauns? Otherwise we'll probably need something to drag it back to base. It probably should be okay if we do that." He asks to the rest of the group.

[Soren Haicen]

"If the tauntauns can't drag it back I suggest we leave it." Soren said, disregarding the idea of hugging the droid the entire way back, it was too big for that. "That storm is coming quick and I figure if we try and come back for it we'll end up stuck in it." Which wasnt an option he wanted to consider.

[Galen Panteer]

"We should be able to drag it back." Galen said, removing some line from his pack. "It may get banged up a bit more, but it seems pretty durable."

[Remmington Balmung]

"Well it already survived a crash. A little more scuffing really isn't going to matter at this point." Remmington offers to help Galen tie the droid.

He looks over to Soren. "By the way, apologies but I do not think we have been introduced yet. Lord Remmington Balmung of the Empire."

[Soren Haicen]

"Soren." The younger man replied simply as he stepped down from his tauntaun to help secure the droid.

"Do you even think this thing will work again? Or is the plan just to scrap it out for whatever parts we can pull from it." Those might have some use after all.

[Remmington Balmung]

"Pleasure." Remmington replies to the terse response.

"Damage is actually pretty light all things considered. It will be a quick enough fix once we get this gonk back to the hangar."

[Galen Panteer]

"They aren't really built for walking through difficult terrain." Galen nodded. "It probably got stuck and froze out here."

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington finishes tying his part off. "Are you guys ready to head back soon. My side is secure."

He looks over to Galen. "Care to share some of your stories. We got a lot cover during the years. Are you still an animal enthusiast?"

[Galen Panteer]

"I am." he nodded. "Much more of a conservationist than a hunter now. Spent a few years rehabilitating some kath hounds."

[Remmington Balmung]

"I was not aware that kath hounds were endangered or such." Remmington comments. He has at least heard of the creatures that have been used as pets.

"They aren't. These were mutated by chemical exposure." he explained. "One had to be put down, but the rest of the pack weren't as bad."
