Such a Sith pedigree indeed. Layne wouldn't mention that her line seemed to have a habit of doing terrible and evil things; making so many mistakes; only to somehow do the right thing in the end after all. Even in death. Granted, she couldn't say with certainty that grandma had gone into the Light, which really only meant Oshin had done it, and a sample size of one was hardly evidence of a bloodline trait.

But she *had* wanted to believe grandma had done it all for the right reasons, in her final end.

*Still* wanted to believe, despite all the hate now in her heart. Wanted to believe that after all this, in the end, she herself would do the same. But she had to be dead to that possibility now. It was too painful to hope.
