As I'm going through listing all the Opportunities, I think some people might have participated past their maximum (and a lot have reached their maximum on Day 2) for Session 1.

Challenges and Opportunities

Players can engage in opportunities to affect other aspects of survival to make life easier around Echo Base or maintain basic operations through group activities. Challenges and Opportunities are similar to events but are limited to three to five players completed a role play and skill-based challenge. Challenges are usually from events generated by the GM while Opportunities are player driven, players can engage in one Challenge per game day while Opportunities are limited to two per session, which is three game days.

I remembered it was 2 per session which was why I didn't join the hunt. Could do a list of people who've done opportunities if it makes it easier to work out who has done their max and who has some left but i think almost everyone has done at least 1 and quite a few have done 2

I didn't realize the rescue for Layne and Shy was a patrol opportunity when I joined. I thought it was just a generic search for PCs. So yeah, I am in 3 i guess. I'll skip one in session 2.

Probably is, but I kept thinking of it as a rescue. Just a mistake on my part.

I think from now it might be better that on the opening post (not just the title) of an opportunity should be marked as such, rather than a thread starting as a non-patrol/opportunity then becoming one later as it may confuse some players. It requires more planning/organisation but it's better than accidentally going over the max because a thread that started normal became an opportunity event. So who is in the opportunity and what it's for

Yes.

Threads (in title and at the start) should be clearly marked as Opportunities, and preferably what type of Opportunity (Patrol, Hunting/Foraging, Renewal).
Also writing a tag of who is expected to partake is also good since it gives clear info to the GM.

I think on D3, Layne could probably be thrown at one of these. Athletics would be her best roll for these I guess. Followed by resilience and then maybe discipline (but not great). Anyway, just throwing it out there.

If I am not mistaken, Challenges have separate limits from Opportunities (1/day vs. 2/sesh), so... I would very much like to help bring in the tauntauns, if possible. My best roll is stealth. She really can't do anything else in it. XD;

It is also totally fine if there's someone better for it. I just like seeing them show up.

I think it my be best to do a separate thread for Challenges. I have decent rolls for both of them, but I get 2 Boosts when interacting with animals. So, I'd ike team Tauntaun.
