Hoth: Blood and Ice

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington nods. "Base command is an excellent suggestion Zeno."

He looks over to Moyr for her request. "I can certainly look at it. Where is the droid and why do you think it's spying on us? Anything else that I should know about it?"

[Darth Bellious]

"It can be found near the command centre. As for how to deal with it, you'll have to see it for yourself. It's rather cryptic and I don't know if it's sliceable."

[Zeno Thul]

"Even if you can't slice it, you can lightsaber it," he says with a shrug. "If it's not part of the Empire or Republic resources then it might be a pirate resource. Might want to just destroy it."

[Darth Bellious]

"It's an option. But you know how it is with abysses, you look into one, it looks back. If it is a spy, we can spy back on its owners if we crack the nonsense it is spouting."

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington nods. "Won't know until I take a look myself."

[Zeno Thul]

"I'm not good at that kind of stuff. If someone is spying, either someone else handles it or I kill the spy back home. My strong point never was indirectness," he admits with a shrug.

"Do you know what resources we have so far? It seems that the Republic side has a lot of people here." Remmington comments.

[Darth Bellious]

Moyr let both men speak for a while without her, testing her new armour subsystem by moving around in it while checking the vitals.

[Zeno Thul]

"We came with a focus on diplomacy, so likely a bit less military hardware. But more medical equipment I'm guessing," he said. "Not actually too sure since I'm not the quartermaster."

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington nods. "I believe we should have a lot of advanced probes that we can use."

"I wonder if the pirates have a financial backer. They seem a little too well equipped and organized."

[Zeno Thul]

"That will help with finding the list, but it'll be good for an early warning system too. We do need to work on shoring up the defenses here," Zeno replies.

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington thinks for a moment. "Speaking of which, I wonder what this place has for defenses. I hope we can find some turrets or a shield generator or something."

[Zeno Thul]

"Something that we'll learn in the process of fixing it up, I'm sure. But we will need to figure out why the force has drawn us all here. What power is it that tugs on the strands of fate and destiny. Probably more important knowledge than anything else right now."

[Remmington Balmung]

"True enough. Have you spoken with any Jedi or other Force users? I wonder if they are sensing the same things as us." Remmington asks.

"I received a prophecy from the High Arcanix."

[Zeno Thul]

"They are feeling it, yes. It's definitely a universal concern. What kind of vision did you get?" he asks, figuring he wouldn't have mentioned it if he didn't want to share.

[Remmington Balmung]

"The daughter of the Dragon will seek the sheep, stand before her and be swept away. For she is as the father, but without the leash of discipline." Remmington quotes. "So far I don't have much lead into what that means."

[Darth Bellious]

Moyr took note of that. It either complemented or contradicted her own. She needed to think about it.

[Zeno Thul]

"So this daughter is recruiting and powerful would be my guess. Not sure beyond that guess," Zeno replies with a shake of his head. "But that would be the obvious reading."

[Remmington Balmung]

"She sounds like she may be wild and not to be controlled. Well if either of you hear any more that may clue us in please let me know."

[Darth Bellious]

"We sure will." Moyr nodded.

[Zeno Thul]

"Of course. I'll have to do some poking around with the Jedi," Zeno says with a nod.

[Remmington Balmung]

"Any idea if they are seeing the same visions as we are?" Remmington asks.

[Zeno Thul]

"I am unsure. So many have difficulty seeing anything specific. And I think the only real difference is how Dark vs Light presents the information to us. So we may be describing something similar, but not seeing it the same way."

"Hmm... I guess I'll have to ask a Jedi directly to get their take on it and see if I can gleam anything different."
