Hoth: Blood and Ice

[Aphr Ahaya]

"If you shut off the power I don't think it'd take long for this place to be a frozen tomb. Could be months, could be years. I don't think it's a popular holiday destination" Aphr tried to clean a little of the mess off her ship "as for who it belonged to? Well, there was Imperial and Republic beacons, so I assume a neutral party. That narrows it down a lot."

[Remmington Balmung]

"Pirates perhaps? It would make sense to gather any Imperial and Republic survivors all to one place." Remmington suggests as he looks for something to help clean.

[Aphr Ahaya]

"I was leaning more towards traders, but I suppose it could have been pirates too. I don't understand why the current ones would have left them running if they wanted us to crash and die though" Aphr mused thoughtfully

[Remmington Balmung]

"Traders huh? The base seems a little too big for it to simply be traders. Plus it looks like a military base here. Still doesn't explain what happened here or why this place was abandonned. Maybe we can find answers to that if we get access to the base logs." Remmington manages to find something and helps out cleaning Aphr's ship.

[Aphr Ahaya]

"It does, but I don't think any military has been here for a long long time. It certainly feels more lived in recently though" Aphr nodded "maybe if we get power up someone can dig through the systems and find out? Not that it matters, we're not here for a holiday. Being shot out of the sky shows that."

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington nods. "True enough. You think that this base was used by the military transport that was taken out? Then the next question is what happened to the previous survivors."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"You do an awful lot of thinking about the past don't you?" Aphr chuckled "does it matter?"

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington shrugs his shoulders and chuckles. "I guess not. So what are your plans for the future? Like the more immediate I mean. If you want to talk about long term life plans. I'll listen since I said such an open ended question."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"In the immediate? Get warm, make base warm, squash pirates - well not me squashing them - then go skiing. I believe it's in that order" Aphr said with a laugh "the future is still in flux after all, even those of us with a keen eye on the future know things can change in the blink of an eye. The less time spent on this frozen wasteland though the better. What of yourself though?"

[Remmington Balmung]

"About the same. Get the base back in working. Crush the pirates. Then go back home to some place war... less cold." Remmington comments and then remembers something.

"Oh right, going back to what we were talking about before the Speed Fire. Please tell me the details about this dream you had about the Dragon."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Oh, sure. There really wasn't a lot to it, simply two men standing before an empty throne talking about how The Dragon’s ascendance is inevitable, from a voice that I believe belonged to whoever sat on the throne. One that was either dead, or thought to be dead. Other than this I cannot say" Aphr frowned "too many pieces missing."

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington nods. "Good to know. Well if you find out any more please let me know. I'll keep you informed as well."

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr nodded.

"Will do. Generally my visions get more clear and focused as the moments draw close. Lord Zhorrids reading however you'd need to look into yourself, as I can't see into her vision."

[Remmington Balmung]

"She didn't seem to know much at the time. I'm not sure if that has changed but it hasn't been that long so maybe I'll wait a bit." Remmington ponders.

[Aphr Ahaya]

"That's because it's about you. You need to take the steps into your journey, follow the path you can't see and see what waits ahead. Standing and waiting will just let the moment pass you by" Aphr shook her head "if Lord Zhorrid can't guide you that's because you're still in the moment before. You need to walk before the guide can help you."

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington nods. "I will take your advice to mind. I just need to help fix up the base first. Plus maybe find some snow speeders or something that we can use. Travelling around is rather limited at the moment."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Maybe you'll find your answer in your work. Or just more fires" Aphr said with a small laugh "ok, I'm going to finish cleaning up this ship as much as I can then go look around. You can stay and help or not."

[Remmington Balmung]

"I will stay and help. Its the least that I can do." Remmington replies.
