Rumun nods to Zeno's comment. '' Again, my Lords and Ladies, i'm not trying to argue with you. For once, i always try to see the entire picture, as in the past, when most of those here present were about to engage with certain Dark Lord, i was the only one that argue against it, because we lacked proper knowledge about the challenge ahead, and i guess all those that were involved paid dearly, in some way or the other. Or i'm wrong?''

'' Just noticing the tension between members, my Lord, nothing else.'' Rumun said, noticing the disdain from the former being known as Sylvain. He didn't engage after that. He said what he had to say.

[Layne Hoshin]

"You heard the same thing I heard, Syl. If all that were true, then I *do* know. I've seen what that does to a person before, after all. Though... I can't even begin to imagine what it'd have done to someone as powerful in the Force as the Emperor."

She sighed.

"But... right... We're not even anywhere near tackling the *lesser* problems that have to be tackled before we can tackle *that* one."

It was hard for the Minister of War to put aside the Ministering entirely. He had lashed out with impatience in what he perceived to be condescension... but took a step back from his pride for a moment.

"Despite the way it was presented... there is wisdom in Rumun's words. We should dedicate ourselves to learning more of what this threat entails... And as quickly as possible. The cooperation dictated by our crash landing on this icy rock may be exactly what we all need to ensure that this goes the best it can given the circumstances..."

Luth nodded in agreement. "Besides, context is important when it comes to interpreting visions. We might get more with some time and investigation."

'' I'm not as versed in the force, not like you all, but i have offered my help to Lord Bellious here, so at least you can count on me through her wishes. I have no love for the Empire, which considers me a traitor, for known reasons, and certainly not for the Republic. But i have always been true to my word''

'' Nonetheless, if the visions that you had each perceive, then there must be a connection, besides what ties each other together from past experiences. The fact of the matter that you all are here, and you all have felt similar experiences, must mean something, and that something must be in this planet.'' He offered some advise. '' Whatever it may be, be a dragon, be twin kids, or some other vergence on the force.''

'' If there is a connection, it might be possible to reconnect with it, in order to find the real truth, through the Force, dissipating the lies from the truth as my Lord here said'' Rumun pointed to Luth.

She had little to say to that. She had a path forward though, at least. Terrible though it was to contemplate.

Bellious, who had somehow kept her silence through all this, perhaps captured by a Force-induced reverie of Yavin or deep contemplation, decided to finally say something.

"I think we can really simplify it. The minimum plan we can converge on is to prevent the Dragon from having his way with the galaxy, whether it is extinguishing it or subjecting to supreme autocratic domination. For me, it's mostly the same. Life deprived of a chance for liberation is like death. Whether the Republic or the Empire collapse in the process is something that may happen as the cost for securing the baseline. If they survive, we can return to pettier squabbles. And I completely agree with the notion of learning more, if our past mistakes about Vitiate are anything to go by."
