Clawing your way out of a cramped escape pod into a snow bank wasn't really Soren's idea of a good morning. Even if he wasn't feeling any worse for wear after the hard landing. That didn't mean it wasn't someone's of course. He'd seen enough of the empire to know that sanity and common sense were both rare commodities.
Pullign himself out of the pod, he collected his belongings and attempted to dust himself off as he took stock of the surrondings. The homing beacon would take him to the others eventually it was just a matter of how long. As well as what he might run into along the way.
Climbing the Cliff wasn;t going to be easy, especially given the weather and the bumpy ride that he had on the way down. Still, staying here wasn't going to do him any good so up he went. Though it was a rather exhausting process.
In a crash like that ther eos bound to be people in trouble. Still it was hard to tell if it was friend or foe at this distance. Hand on his blaster pistol he started to make his way towards the signal. No reason not to be a little cautious after all.

Imperial design, well he had heard there had been an imperial ship up there too. He wasn't sure if they had been what shot them down though. Things were more then a little confusing when you didn't have military clearence after all.
His thoughts must of hsi distracted him though, as if there was somethign there he missed it.
He feels the heat first and then crackle of the lightsaber and he turns to find the crimson weapon leveled at him. Thankfully she seems to not be intent to attack, the shape belied a woman. She was wearing heavy clothing and was completely covered but it still showed.
She spoke loud enough for him to hear over the storm, “I am protecting these Imperial assets, friend or foe?”
He shrugged an followed her lead for the moment at least. "A pirate? I think I have too many eyes for that." Weren't all pirates supposed to be missing eyes or legs? Maybe even hands?
"But I can understand the caution." He paused as he reached the pod. "Still you'd think I'd have a ways of getting around if I was a pirate scouting for treasure."

She continued with ehr Imperial accent, “I would not know… names Triss, Mister Not Pirate, and you are?”
She tapped on the door with a rhythmic tone and it opened. She checked them over and said, “If you are on the level maybe you can help me carry one of these soldiers. Fair?”
"Well, if they are anything like the gangsters and such you see on Nar Shaddaa at least half of em would be missing something." He mused before introducing himself. "I'm Soren, Miss Triss."
"Carrying soldiers? Guess I could lend you a hand there." As long as they had some sort of ability to move on their own. "Can't leave em here afterall. Not in this kind of storm."
