The Age of Aquarius

Master Zyn would come back to the Order from the war with Zakuul with the wind of reform in her sails. She had seen the Order tested as never before and saw were in failed the challenges the Force had put before them.

The Jedi were a force for good in a galaxy that would always need them but it would need them in different way. It was her opinion that the Order was hamstrung by heir own myth and legend: Their fear of conflict made them close minded and wary to explore new venues, to debate new expansions or reviews of their philosophies and teachings. Detachment from the world too easily fostered canned morality that failed and shattered leading to the fall of many.. Attachment to their image brought entitlement and made it easy to ostracize their own, pushing aside those would would not quite fit the mold despite their best intention.

The Order needed to change
Numerous proposals would see the rise in importance of the various jedi corps and the creation of two new ones: the Education and the Social Corps.

The first of these would come when select members of the order would be tasked with getting actual degrees in their respective fields and then get degrees in pedagogy. The latter diploma will be used in turn to properly train jedi knights who would take padawans to make sure they have the proper tools to respond to their pupil's need and particularities.

The Education Corps, and their auxiliaries, second and most important mission will be to establish a university and a series school and colleges to allow for the education of the most vulnerable classes. Not only would this help the post war reconstruction but also promote an progressive minded ideology with the growth of the Order's soft power amongst the people.

The Social Corps would also be tasked with two main missions. The First would be the continuing psychological evaluation and care of Jedi operatives after missions: A knight on the field can experience compounding trauma and requires delicate and professional help. Art therapy would be something Master Zyn would push for herself as a way to give everyone a way to express themselves in a healthy way.

The second mission would be to take the field all across the Republic and neutral regions to take stock of the social and economic situations and movements. Rather then wait for a crisis to happen the Corps would seek preventative measures. Master Zyn often quoted 'True peace is not the absence of conflict, is it the reign of justice' thus finding out injustices and seeking to motivate and empower locals to propose and implement solutions would yield longer lasting results. These agents would sometimes be paired with Jedi Sentinels and work secretly to find and root out corruption whenever it occurred.

Finally, the Sixth Line would be partially reformed. The Sixth Line would also be tasked to protect and maintain a series of secret temples the now Grand Master Zyn would build in secret using her arcane technologies so that, should the Jedi fall, those who would follow in the Order's footstep would have the tool they need to rebuild.

These added missions on top of post-wartime reconstruction would prove quite onerous to the Jedi Order but the cost would be offset by the exploration and exploitation of neighboring star systems in the deep core which fell under Jedi purview since the split republic would not let the opposite side take control.

The killik would prove valuable allies to the order by lending support to the management of Jedi space by suppling, amongst other things, drones for labor and patrols to keep the few stable hyperlanes secured. Over the years the hives successfully fully implanted themselves on the other planets of the Tython system which lead to some sustained growth but never exceeding what the ecosystems could produce. While some archeological sites were lost, none of them were suspected to be linked to the Je'daii Order or the Force in general.
