That piqued Zeno's interest. "Interesting. So are you more interested in the precision to kill individuals or in enough power to kill as many as possible?"

“We are interested in this because that is our purpose, in the end our first real world test was inconclusive, casualties were high, but we could not repeat the test in the real world. We have reported to simulations,” the system responded.

Pipka piped up, "You said that you were betrayed before and you had to 'liquidate' them. If your makers betrayed you, why are you still pursuing their goals?" He thought back to the different conversations he'd had in the past days about freedom and choice and destiny, and decided to change his own frame of thinking for a moment for the sake of Sysadmin.

"I guess what I should really ask is, do you want to find another purpose?"

[Dapper Dog]

"We do not process this query in a meaningful way?" was the response.

"There really isn't an optimal killer." Galen spoke up. "Every situation, every target is different. Each requires a different approach. Really, the only thing that kills everything is time."

[Dapper Dog]

"We must investigate this, it is our purpose," the system replied.

[Zeno Thul]

"You know, the perfect killer would be capable of killing everything in the universe, but then there would be nothing left to kill. That purpose will ultimately lead to a lack of meaning and purpose if nothing lives, particularly on the timescale of an AI's lifespan," Zeno replies.

[Galen Panteer]

"Once you've achieved your purpose, what will you do?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Error, please repeat query," the system replied.

"When you have concluded what is the most optimal for killing, what will you do?"

[Pipka]

As the AI didn't seem to be able to think in that way, outside of or beyond its programmed 'purpose', Pipka tried another line of questioning, "Why did you need to liquidate the ones before, how did they betray you?"

[Zeno Thul]

Zeno waited for the AI to say they tried to turn it off. If that was the reason then this AI was a huge threat that should just be bombarded from orbit. Anything else was probably fine.

[Dapper Dog]

As the AI didn't seem to be able to think in that way, outside of or beyond its programmed 'purpose', Pipka tried another line of questioning, "Why did you need to liquidate the ones before, how did they betray you?"

“We do not have suitable data, logs indicate system crash and logs indicate we carried out liquidation but we have no so-called memory of doing such,” the system replied.

"When you have concluded what is the most optimal for killing, what will you do?"

"Report findings to error... no data or such table exists," the system replied.

[Dapper Dog]

"No, it would require access to vital systems," the system responded.

The system replied, "No, transferred majority of operating system to mobile organic platform."
