She let out a long breath and shook her head. "That answers that, I suppose." She looked toward Baras to see if he wanted her to do anything about this... person.

Sylvain glanced over towards Baras as he approached.

He had killed the man so many times… And been killed so many times in return… Fought with him… fought against him…

And there he was again… What would their fate be this time?

She shrugged. That also answered that. "Come on, we should at least get you to the med bay to get examined."

[Galen Panteer]

The cup was refilled. "Make yourself comfortable. We'll go get Senator Saresh for you."

Galen turned and walked away.

Sylvain nodded and took hold of his daughter’s hand.

We should probably warn Layne not to get off the ship…

The Senator was actually on her way and said, "Paladin, did the ship arrive?"

Omandri was about, hearing of a new ship arriving was big no matter how you sliced it.

He held his chuckle in at the display as he leaned on a wall. He was fairly certain he could puzzle out who Darth irrej was. This dialog was all but lifted from a cartoonish villain in a subpar novel. He might be wrong but if he was that just made this more funny.

[Remmington Balmung]

Remmington is quietly watching the proceedings. They certainly seem to be getting more and more people lately. Plus news of an Imperial ship coming in is something to look forward to.

Breela bumps Remmi with her hip, cup of caf in hand. "What's this about?"

"Looks like a new Darth has shown up." Remmington answers quietly.

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne was entirely oblivious as she just happened to walk into the hangar...

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr had been nearby as the whole commotion happened, being one of the people still remaining in her ship. She watched on with great amusement.

The Senator was actually on her way and said, "Paladin, did the ship arrive?"

"Yes. It's not quite what we expected." he said, walking back with her.

Tethys blinks perplexedly when the Darth seems to point directly at her, while intoning about perfidious Jedi who would have you THINK… something?

Given this new Sith lord’s obvious animus against the Jedi Order, it’s probably for the best that Galen has taken point here.

Tethys does shoot Kat a puzzled glance, though. Does Layne have another nemesis we didn’t know about? Again?

And is it just her, or does something feel weird about this?

Kat watched the entire affair with some rather puzzled expression, trying to make heads or tails of it. So when the two Jedi exchanged glances it was almost like looking in a mirror.

With a sigh, she brought a hand up to the side of her head and began to massage her temple. It was too early in the day for a headache caused by Layne Hoshin. "What is it this time..."

"Yes. It's not quite what we expected." he said, walking back with her.

"That could be the title of our expedition's life story," she responded.

[Darth Irrej]

Darth Irrej sipped his hot chocolate and said, "This is rather delicious." Once finished he threw back his cloak and said to those gathered, "I am impressed that so many have come to bask in my glory, I am not usually one for crowds, I abhor them. But today, today it seems fitting that I, be welcomed with a heroic gesture of hospitality."

"Far better than the White Maw offered."

Luth waved to the doctor and escorted Sylvain over to him, assuming he's willing to go with. "Omandri. I hate to interrupt this..." She glanced over at Irrej and couldn't quite keep the sarcasm from her voice, "momentous event, but Shyyyo has been exposed on Hoth for upwards of twenty days."

"I assure you Lord Khalan it is quite momentous!" he corrected. "It's not every day you meet Darth Irrej, and live to tell the tale."

"Ahem, is there a place I could go to adjust this helmet it tends to fog up on the inside, which while perfectly sinister on the outside, does make it intolerable at times. If not I will be forced to bare my hideous visage unto thee."

"Twisted by the Dark Side, scarred and mangled," he said.

"I definitely think this particular story will end up with a title." he said.

"You going to write it, Paladin," she joked and then observed their guest and added, "Is this some kind of a joke?"

"Self important, overly dramatic, unique vocabulary, entitled and obsessed with Layne Hoshin." he sighed. "He reminds me of someone. It seems unbelievable, though."

Layne started pushing her way past the crowd; still oblivious.

"S'going on?" she asked whoever happened to be closest to her.

"I assure you Lord Khalan it is quite momentous!" he corrected. "It's not every day you meet Darth Irrej, and live to tell the tale."

“Banished! Why dearest brother, I merely took the briefest of sabbaticals after you allowed our dear sister to be taken by the perfidious Jedi! I needed a rather intense and all consuming holiday!”

"Breif sabbatical? Its been fifteen years!" Baras retorted.

[Darth Irrej]

"I got distracted," he said throwing his cape back with a flourish. "I discovered writing... and music, and even fell in love!"

"Time just melted away into the seams of reality, a drifting song that mesmerized me and kept my cold heart warm all these long years."
