Moyr let Nudie negotiate the approach to the landing field, preparing to go out and check what had befallen the outpost.

The structure looks abandoned, the door frozen open.

Bellious decided to explore the premises, in search for any facts that would point to the circumstances of the abandonment. Her lightsabre would serve her in cutting through ice overgrowth.

"Seems like it's been empty for some time. There may not be much there. Likely robbed several times over." Nudimsu spoke over the comms. He shrugged and started to get his equipment prepped, just in case he needed to go out there. "Then again, you likely did not hear about it for no good reason."

"Run some scans, see if they blip on anything." She paused. "If you are so kind."

He shrugs and begins to push some buttons.

She spots two people on a snowy glacier laying down, both in camo-white but she picked them out. It looks like at least one is armed with a long range weapon pointed in their direction. With enough distance between the two that they are in a virtual barrel with little cover.

So I am being jammed. Interesting.

"Hmmm..." Nudimsu began to look around seeing what he could. "Not picking up anything. I'll try eyeballing it for now."

He awaits a response from the Darth but none ever comes. With that, he'd start to run a diagnostic on the comms to see if maybe they had been shortened out; was not terribly uncommon in cold weather, after all.

That bad feeling was manifested by the feeling of a curved blade under his chin, and a voice with an Imperial timber, "Is the Sith with you, Chiss?"

"I would appreciate it if you answer these questions as if your life depended on it."

He kept still and responded. "She went inside." His tone was neutral, but his breath was deeper. Couldn't risk grabbing his blaster in this position, either. Had to wait for an opening, if it was needed.

"Good, nice and friendly like old friends. Your name, rank? Association with Darth Bellious?" he asked.

"Nudimsu." He said. "I am no Imperial, just a hired pilot. I suspect the relation is she is either impressed with my flying skills or the Darth has a small fetish for my people; it could be both."

"Yes, both," he said softly.

"Now, open a channel and tell her to drop her weapons, and then we can all have a friendly chat," he responded.

Takes a deep breath and begins to fiddle with the comm button before pushing it down. "Darth Bellious, I seem to have stumbled across a lead for whatever it is you are actually doing out here. The lead has asked that you disarm and to come speak with him. "

"Tell them whoever they are, I am all for a calm chat." Moyr sheathed Passion and started walking back toward the ship, minding the snipers in the peripheral. "After all, I came looking for old acquaintances."

He takes his hand off the comm button and relays the words she said. "If this is how old acquaintances treat her..."
