Riss wasn't the only one capable of working the charms as their path brought them to a pirate who had just opened a secret door on their path. Maybe they were using the backdoor to get to their shift or some other nefarious purpose.

Riss had moved on a little, so by the time Aurilie returned she was able to witness quite the amazingly beautiful sight. Riss sat atop a crate and was busy directing some of the local boys to help her move some of the loot down on through. Smiling, laughing, they all helped happily.
However.. another supervisor of some sort arrived, and started asking all those same boring old questions. Who are you, what are you doing, blah blah blah boooooring. Riss is in the process of waving her arms down, trying to calm him down. They've both moved off to the side of the hallway to talk about this misunderstanding as it were.
When Aurie gets close enough to hear..
"Anyway, so when the boss told me I have to get all this stuff moved I was like, really? You want me to just take it all? I'd never do that-" before opening a nearby chute and with all the might she can muster throwing herself into him so he trips, and slides within.
Running up to the grate she first glances back at the others, who didn't notice, and then back down the chute, "Just Kidding! I would totally DO THAT."
Glancing back to Aurie she flashes a smile, "Sorry uh.. about the mess?? We're good though, mm?" and shen she nods toward their exit route.

The team arrived at the shuttle to find Beezlediz making last minute checks and he smiled and said, “I do love working with professionals, quick and quiet. So just load up the loot and I will get the shuttle spooled up.”
He gestured for them to get to work and ran up the ramp to get the show on the road. There was ample room in the hold, this looks to be a loading area and hangar bay inside the cruise liner, one of the cages is massive and holds an acklay.
Obviously nothing could possibly go wrong…
Unless power glitched and the ray shielding dropped and the acklay rose to it’s full height and roared and came charging for the team.
Which of course is exactly what happened.
OOC: Acklay is at Medium to the group in the hangar and is Aversary 2 and Melee Defense 2. Roll Vigilance for Initiative. Weapons are limited to sidearms like blaster pistols or lightsabers that are easily hidden. Or small melee weapons. Despair used.

The acklay hisses and roars snapping at the team as it started to approach. The hangar is littered with crates and scrap, the shuttle itself is mounted with an anti-personnel weapon system, and the cage seems active again after the brief power blip, of course getting the creature back inside might be a trick.

Jan swallows, the monster was nearly as powerful and fearsome as that old merc, for all she knew he'd been an acklay under all that gear! At best she could probably just annoy it.
"...Well I'm heading for the shuttle, I think we might need something a little bigger to deal with this. But if you can drive it back into the cage be my guest."
Jan's pistol comes up and unleashes a torrent of blaster fire that would shred most non-acklay sized enemies.

Aurilie rushes up to Riss' side when she hears her call. Taking a gander at the machine, and then the Acklay, the understanding of what could be done clicks- "Understood. Just a moment," she says, with cool tone and demeanor despite the chaos.
Ting the control module from Riss but unfortunately the damaged console, and situation, proved a rather unfortunate pairing. Aurilie's eyes narrow hard on the device when things don't go quite according to plan.

Red Blade drew his weapons quickly and covered Riss with blaster fire, he struck the creature but his weapon did not pierce the thick hide. This was going to get real interesting when the beast decided to charge at them.
The acklay rushed towards Aurelie in a rage and swiped at her and Riss with its large clawed limb in a terrible fury!
OOC: Plus Superior for 1 Advantage used to boost the next ally. Hits for 12, but damage is soaked. Incidental to draw weapon, maneuver to draw the second weapon.
The Acklay moved to short and then 2 strain to move to Engaged with Riss and Aurelie. Hit Aurelie for 18 wounds, Pierce 3, 2 advantages to hit Riss as well for 18 wounds, Pierce 3, and a Critical Injury on Aurelie for the last 2 advantage.

The creature reeled back from the lightsaber, it hissed and roared at the Jedi with growing fury.
It stumbled forward and then collapsed from the various wounds.
OOC: Now at 26 wounds and 2 strain. End of combat.

Seeing Aurie go down under the creatures sharp talon, the blood of that troubling hit cutting deep into the womans body Riss didn't realize she screamed. Which was probably why her voice was a little hoarse when she reaches out her hand saying, "Aurie!" turning quickly, "Kat!? Veral?" but too goes down quickly after the beasts next strike which came with lightning speed.
Riss takes 18 damage.
