The Sunset Dawn is not the prettiest ship, nor the fastest, most well-armed, or the best maintained for that matter. The most that could be said of it is that it's an entirely adequate and spaceworthy vessel, despite the signs of battle-damage plus general wear and tear. The ship came into the possession of its current owner, Layne Hoshin, sometime after her departure from the Sith, and before the campaign against the Mandalorians on Bankor, and with the state of the galaxy keeping her busy ever since, it's essentially served as her home.

Even after all these years, Layne is still something of a slob; though at the very least the *common* areas of the ship are not a *total* mess thanks to the efforts of the various people who have been forced to share the space with her, such as her apprentice. Still, one's likely to find components laying around, or a variety of souvenirs she's picked up over the years from the many planets and battlefields she's visited. Occasionally one finds a stray piece of hard candy (don't eat them, they've been there since Bankor) in random places. There's also a well-made painting half obscured by junk and clearly neglected, depicting Layne battling Duke Ulgo on Alderaan.
