"Jedi are at least mostly predictable in their actions, although hard to predict what they will do with the Force. Sith are far more emotional, which means unpredictable. Not to mention their games against each other. I do my best not to work with them when I don't have to but or just generally trust them but..."

He makes a wide motion with his hands. "...Circumstances have changed."

"I find you keep your head down, be on he next planet, and out of notice and you are marginally safe," she responded. "I just let Z handle them, he seems to know how to bend and weave with the best of them."

"Exactly. Just follow the orders and hope you don't get to be the selective sacrifice for the good of the Empire. Some are better than others, though. That one in there.." He motions to the ship. "Plays some games, but doesn't seem like the one to slice you with a lightsaber over a small mistake. About as good as one can ask for when working for them."

He paused and looked at her. "Sounds like you have some respect for your employer."

Moyr gestured to the soundproof part of the ship, seeing Nudimsu finding other company. "How about there?"

"I mean she murdered a Mandalorian that was apparently serving her for power, but sure," she said nodding along.

The man followed and waited till they were in a secure area and said, “It’s complicated, Darth Baras has been feeding us intel on your situation. An unprecedented joint operation of necessity.”

“But like you our communications off world is jammed.”

"Physical jamming, like pirates blocking the relays, or something more supernatural?" Moyr rubbed the left side of her nose.

"I don't deal with magic, this is high tech signals jamming," he responded. "Sorcery is your wheelhouse, Sith."

[Nudimsu]

"I mean she murdered a Mandalorian that was apparently serving her for power, but sure," she said nodding along.

He paused for a few moments and nodded. "I think I'm beginning to respect your employer too."

"So you know where the jammer is?"

"We do, there is a network of them, but we would also need to take out the mobile hub which is in orbit," he responded.

"Have you developed a plan to take the network down that could work if Echo resources were committed to it?"

"And here I thought we would have to do a song and dance to get the Sith on board," he responded. "We can pass out intel on to you."

"Let's get this rolling and we can dance and sing afterwards. I hate being trapped."

"My team will pass it along then, but without strong space superiority it's going to be hell," he offered.

He paused for a few moments and nodded. "I think I'm beginning to respect your employer too."

"Yeah he is pretty wiz," she offered. "You stuck at the Echo thingy?"

[Nudimsu]

Nudimsu nods. "Yes, since the assault began. Managed to fight off the aerial forces, well enough, but had a bad entry into the planet itself. We have made due there, but could always use a few more able bodies there if and when you all are able to join. I understand you only follow what the paycheck tells you, but it is something to bring up at least. "

"That is Z's call, we decided to stay off the grid for now and observe. Just a lot of technical diplomatic stuff... areas of jurisdiction and all that. I will admit I didn't read the mission brief too closely," she said.

He could not say that last statement shocked him in any meaningful way. "Well, hopefully we can all get off this iceberg soon so it won't make a difference. My people were born in this sort of weather, but I tend to avoid it nowadays. Few days are fine as a reminder of home, but any much longer and here and you may end up looking like me; you'd have the skin match the hair, at least."

His face remained neutral, at his little joke. It felt like it landed, at least.

She laughed and slapped her thigh saying, "I got that one!"

His eyes widen slightly as she laughed. She...actually got that I was joking. That rarely happens... Maybe she was sharper than he gave her credit for. She did manage to survive in the wastes this long, after all.

"Thank you."

"My team will pass it along then, but without strong space superiority it's going to be hell," he offered.

"Hell and almost certain death. So, Tuesday." She still had some of her own blood on her teeth. "Anything else I should know, about the White Maw? What are they up to?"

“They are fighting each other, mostly in the shadows. Think the one called Immortal is doing an end run on the others, throwing their lot in with a state called Zakuul, unverified. But given the incidents at Echo Station that we can substantiate, of concern,” he responded.

“I am more concerned with their backers, the tech they deploy is advanced.”

His eyes widen slightly as she laughed. She...actually got that I was joking. That rarely happens... Maybe she was sharper than he gave her credit for. She did manage to survive in the wastes this long, after all.

"Thank you."

"Yeah, no problem," she said regaining her normal poise.

"So the Immortal is the one likely taking technology from the Zakuul? I wonder if any of his rivals can be supported to move against him. With this in mind, what do you know about Captain Syrian?"

"That's an assumption, we only know that there could be communications between the two sides based on our intelligence. They are not bound my oaths of loyalty or duty but by opportunity, so it's possible. Sentient intelligence and bio-psychology are not my fields," he said to her.

[Darth Bellious]

"An opening of this kind is enough for me to try. I should have assumed it myself. Thank you." She mused. "What protocol to contact you again?"
