But she had worked before on the crystal she had once torn from the guts of a madman, with fervency derived from emotional connection to the Dark Side. And the twisted red jewel produced by Sith alchemy had been bending to her will. There was much in the way of turbulence within her now, as fear, anger, drive and passion fuelled her outlooks for the next day, so she felt that was the last moment for the final touch to the symbolic fulcrum of her power as a Sith. In truth, she treated it as portentous. Would she succeed, or fail? She resorted to the bloodthirsty nature of her witch powers, letting some of her own blood.

Hedging her bets a bit, she asked Razzya to research some facts from Sith history during the Great Hyperspace War to give her inspiration from the Great Sith of that time. Razzya dug into Qel-Droma Epics. And she found something.

And as her own blood trickled on the stone, it began changing, adding the fluid to its nature, becoming viscous and flexible. In the end, Darth Bellious needed few tools; the crystal she had so thoroughly made hers was now literally a part of her. It was her passion that constituted Passion.
