As part of the routine, Moyr and Razzya tuned in to the pirate frequencies Nudimsu had acquired weeks before to listen if there was anything worthwhile on their comm channels.

The chatter is mostly about taking cover in the storm, and some chatter about some pit matches on the morrow. The Queen has some choice fighters she can;t wait to show off. Might even be worth going up against the current champion.

Moyr got interested a bit in those pit matches. Their venue and significance.

They don't go into detail just mentioning the pits, safe to say it must be in or around their settlement of Junk Town.

Then perhaps they could pick out some names.

They mention the Champion, an off-worlder with wizard powers and the Queen, Riyani Viro, also a Beezlediz cleaning up on his bets.

Moyr took note of the names and tried to get more on the wizard.

They don't know much about this wizard champion, just call or Champion or wizard, though most of the chatter is about how much the weather sucks.

That is about all the useful stuff unless you like expletives about the weather and who is fighting or sleeping with who.

No, that was the end of it.

Instead, Moyr would go through another routine: to search frequencies for the Bex codes to perhaps track down whatever outpost they may have left.

No working beacons, but she has a general idea of the location assuming they didn't move their listening post.

Time to pay it a visit once the weather turns a bit less inclement.
