Hoth: Blood and Ice

The Dark Sermon and the earlier discussions of the day had convinced Moyr that she ought to delve deeper into the spiritual miasma of this planet and see its dark veins clearer. Unbeknownst to her previous guests, the holovid of Yavin was her meditation prompt. She would stare and contemplate its slow rotation, revealing initially overlooked details of its red clouds of poison, to retrace the patterns into more abstract and universal Dark. This method would or wouldn't work, but she had to try.

Unblinking, she gazed into molten cosmic bloodflow, its pulse and its haemorrhages.

Hoth itself was mired in the dark side like Korriban.... but every world had it's own flavor... this world reeked with struggle.

So she conjured her memories of her most desperate struggles, letting her terrors and determination return to her, starting with the blood wave of the Yavin trials. Bulging with the Dark Side, accepting the pain, she clawed into sharp angles within the room and let the tendrils grow.

The air resonated with the buzz of a new apex predator, a new hunter that had no regard for it’s prey, it only sought to destroy. Wanton destruction.

No meaning, only slaughter if unleashed.

Moyr traced the signs of predator's passing, a pattern to their behaviour, and so - a blind spot she could hide in to follow and observe.

That's the problem, there is no blind spot. Or at least that is the feeling, whatever this is has no care of collateral damage. It can if it wished see all, but for now it waits.

Since it waited, Moyr started traversing the circumference of the prowling ground, studying it from all angles.

The predator found her, and she was expelled from the hunting ground forcefully back to reality.

The bear had been poked, pray it does not poke back.

She sat there for a time in silent anger.

It must have been her. So it must be true, she is here. I'll see her eventually. But before I succeed, at least I have already learnt her nature.
