It was a harsh night, but Skivulker was determined to get her crew to the beacon… she had made a makeshift sled for those that couldn’t walk and now pressed on through the storm. Perhaps she was too stubborn but they had voted and she loved democracy so on they went.Galen Panteer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 5:41 pm"We found a couple more out there tonight. he nodded. "They were lucky. It will be a harsh night for anyone still out there."
Hopefully Layne had made it, by the time they could assess what happened their fearless leader was gone… probably scouted ahead. Classic Master Layne.
They waited… and waited and waited.
Master Layne must have been injured, and still she went for aid… now she probably needed them. This knowledge gave Skivulker the will to walk long into the night; her strength was nearly about to wane when she saw lights… a settlement, this must have been the beacon.
Much of their electronics had stopped working in the storm so she had to guide them by sight alone.
But she had not found the beacon… she had found herself at Junktown and her adventures were just beginning.
