He takes his hand off the comm button and relays the words she said. "If this is how old acquaintances treat her..."

"I said drop not sheath, she has five seconds to comply and we are not old friends," he replied.

He pushed down the comm button again. "The lead wishes to convey that you are to drop your weapon, not place it to the side, and that you are not old friends, even though acquaintances and friends are two different things." He sighs. "The lead also has eyes outside feeding him information, so he can likely tell if you try something. As a sidenote, he has a blade on me, so I would be greatful if you did not, Darth. You have 5 seconds."

He takes a breath, trying to calm himself.

She put the sabre and the blaster on a rock above the snow then walked forth.

"It's my prized possession, show some respect." She said calmly. She'd considered Force shenanigans, but perhaps there was still time for them.

He gave it a few moments and again communicated the information. Suppose it was time to learn if the Darth thought of him as a person or as a tool in a actual setting that mattered, rather than based on her words.

"Darth Bellious, welcome to Hoth, this is quite a distance from Echo Base," he responded. "The Chiss is currently unharmed."

"It pleases me, Zinar, since it looks like you already know me. Congratulations on setting up a thrilling welcome party. Thank you for treating Nudimsu clemently. I expected someone of the Bex Company, but it's not that I am disappointed." She pointed inside the ship. "Sitting down over a glass of something is an option."

“I am not Bex Company, I am with Imperial Intelligence, we commandeered this location for a deep cover reconnaissance. Apologies my Lord, but we had to be sure and with our intelligence we were aware of the unique situation at Echo Base. But then the blockade started and well, our mission has been hampered immensely,” he responded.

He lowered the blade from Nudimsu and added, “A show of good faith.”

"Thank you." Well then, Imperial Intelligence, this was interesting. Maybe he could finally get some answers about how Imperial intelligence seem to not notice a entire supply of Zakuulian fighters getting handed off to the pirates without anybody noticing.

Or why they did not reach out to anyone at the base with information. Or did they and nobody made it known. Lots of possibilities, better to have him speak on matters first.

She takes a seat on a ice covered crate and said, "Yep, it's all top secret triple black stuff, but a long time. What's it like out there? I mean beyond Hoth."

"Galaxy is in chaos, as it always is." He shrugged. "Fought against some crazed Fear consuming Sith lords last year with both sides. Sith and Jedi fought together to defeat them; if you can believe that. Granted, that is what we're doing now. Those in control have changed, as well, but nothing else has, really."

He paused and nodded. "Oh, and your Emperor might be back, somehow." He pauses. "Force stuff, just don't ask. We now have a unknown empire threating galactic war with all sides with technologically advanced ships and weaponry. May or may not be run by the Emperor."

"Oh I'm not an Imp, freelance operator, and the pay was astronomical... well is astronomical, my hourly rate is super dumb," she said laughing.

"Tell me about it; I fly on a ship freelance, myself." He nodded. "Well, should a war actually end up breaking out, you should be able to renegotiate your hourly pay for even more. I plan on doing the same; going to be a large market for transport and smuggling missions opening up."

"Just has to be a galaxy around to spend it," she mused. "So the Sith running you hard? It's weird dealing with them, Jedi are weird but Sith are next level weird."
