Hoth: Blood and Ice

[Baesal Zyn]

''Do what works for you best'' she replied without judging, she was familiar with that mentality but it was not her own ''I will go get a cushion...are you taking one Zeno?''

"I have no preference, we're not going anywhere anytime soon so we can wait a minute or two to get better chairs. Can I give you a hand?" Zeno agreed.

[Baesal Zyn]

''I will not say no this time around'' The jedi put he hand on the rear of the hull to reveal a crystalline panel on which she drew a few symbols. The hull silently fragmented into several hexagons that folded themselves away from an opening iris door.

''I should have a few in the cargo bay...it's not far.'' she said a she stepped in

''Sure you don't want one?'' she asked the Gank one last time

Zeno watched the fascinating movements and seemed to appreciate them. He steps in behind.

"So, how integrated is it? Or is it mostly computer itself?"

[Ree-var Four]

Four waves the offer away, content to sit on her uncomfortable landing strut. She didn't seem to be in any hurry to get started; it wasn't like she had anywhere to go.

''It's...''' she thought for a second ''...something like that...but computer might not quite be sufficient to encompass the Moth's systems.'' she tried to explain as they crossed the door to the cargo that also served as an engineering bay where her truck was anchored.

''She is still an experimental prototype fusion of a lot of different principles.'' she pointed to a few seemingly normal chairs one might see in a gaming or computer lab, aside from the cushions looking like solidified gel.

Getting closer to them she leaned in a bit closer to the Duke

''I might need to talk to you later about Hoth and...the disturbance I am sure you felt''

[Zeno Thul]

Zeno nodded at her and kept that quiet.

"Is it biological then? Or biology mimicking?"

[Baesal Zyn]

She picked up a chair ''The later. I could not properly produce or maintain biological components in any satisfactory degree but Force engineering allows me some flexibility in the synthesis of replacement materials.''

[Zeno Thul]

"So you have used the force to construct major components?" he asks, sounding impressed and intrigued. He followed behind with his chair.

"More than just manipulation of simple components, it infuses the material, I imagine to give one an easier means of communication?"

[Baesal Zyn]

"You have no idea." She confirmed as she exited " The Moth is almost like a living being...and we are only scratching the surface"

She placed the chair near the holo-table

[Zeno Thul]

Zeno took a third position at the table and pulls out a holotape and hands it to the Gank. "Plug that in will you?"

"All right, so the objective is to control the shortest routes between you hub systems..." he starts explaining as he loads up the game that had rules similar to a train themed game that will exist in a far future in a galaxy far, far away.

[Ree-var Four]

Four inserts the tape into the table and watches as the game boots up. It didn't take too long for her to grasp the strategy, but she was still lagging behind as they reached the midgame.

While there was a degree of luck and randomness said degree was not wide enough to stop Baes from grasping them with a tight fist.

Without prior knowledge of the cards her best strategy was in the drawing of cards for increased options of pathways and trying to monopolize a color of shipping lane in a surprising aggressive strategy that contrasted with her calm and collected demeanor.

[Dapper Dog]

The game was drawing a crowd, not like there was a great deal to do on a military mission especially in hyperspace.

[Zeno Thul]

Zeno, not the logical minded type of person, tried to feel and sense his way through the game. Which likely barely shortened the gap between them on this level of problem solving.

He does try to expand into Ree-var's territory, but by the time he was doing so he had already lost enough time trying to scoop Baesal. Thus he was the lowest score by quite a bit. He tsks himself but accepts the loss with a smirk. Sitting back, he watches the other two count out their routes.

"I'll need to try to understand the meta to get past you aren't I?" he asks with a grin.

Four glares down at the board and it's final score in frustration. Then, she slams her fist into the table, cracking the transparent top and causing all the holo-images to go fuzzy. She stands as the machine starts to send out sparks.

"You have won this game," she growls through her helmet, her gaze turning to Baesal.

She gives the holo-table a solid kick for good measure.

Baesal smiles politely as she passed a hand over the cracked the plasti-glass, seemingly repairing it instantly.

''It seems I did...but you all played well.'' she tilted her head ''Should we play another round?''

[Zeno Thul]

"I'd be interested. Don't get better without practice." Zeno says, apparently having enjoyed the game.

"So how did you pick up this mission Ree-var?" the sith blooded noble asked.

[Ree-var Four]

Four grumpily sits back down for another game. "I'm not here for the mission," she replies, her annoyance clear despite interference from her helmet. "I just needed a ship to Hoth. This was the only one going."

She flexes her fingers in anticipation.

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal sits back, waiting for the board to reset

''Interesting, no many a one would go to Hoth. You have business there other then the pirates I assume?''

[Zeno Thul]

"That would make this conversation awkward wouldn't it?" he asks with a big smile.

The game starts anew and Zeno plays a bit less aggressively. He was definitely doing better but still he seems to be relying too much on intuition and misses out on some of the bonus point moves being made.

[Ree-var Four]

Four plays more cautiously this time, with a focus on securing Kessel and its surrounding systems. "Only reason a Gank goes anywhere. Need to find someone and kill them. If the pirates try to stop me, then I'll kill them, too."

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal's strategy had changed too this time around. Just like the other three she played less aggressively but also less competitively.

''I see. The brass approved your presence I assume?''

[Ree-var Four]

"Brass is a weak metal," she points out. ""I do not care for its opinion."

Gradually she began to expand her power base, creating a burgeoning trade network of shipping routes revolving around Kessel.

[Zeno Thul]

"I believe she is referring to the Republic officers and politicians that are running the show, not literal brass," Zeno says doing better now but definitely behind.
