Hoth: Blood and Ice

Over the next two weeks Echo Base is besieged by constant attacks by the White Maw pirates, they strike at odd hours, with lightning raids often lead by the Immortal, they are guerrilla hit and run style attacks or hitting patrols and then retreating into the snow and blizzards.

These raids come at all hours of the day and negatively impact the morale of the refugees who have become fearful of the attacks. Base trust was quite high but there have been several information leaks that have sewn distrust, such as the revelation that the Imperials had a secret intelligence base in the wastes; that the Republic may have potential contacts off world, and embarrassing data breaches that have often led to increased distrust and paranoia and even conflict on the station.

As words get out that the Eternal Empire is the real threat, there has been a great deal of increased animosity against the crew of the Turtle who have been hosting Vaylin and Senya… even after they help improve base defenses, they are still considered pariahs.

Tensions are rising between the factions and there is a fear that someone on the base perhaps a refugee is providing intelligence to the pirates as they seem to always be able to counter operations.

Day 7 will open on Day 42 of the deployment on Hoth.
