Hoth: Blood and Ice

He did not find the relic he was in search of, but Zayne found plenty of darkness on the mission to Hoth. He fought the Princess of the Eternal Empire and survived, won a battle with a Knight and Walker with a strike team, and was blown out the hatch of an exploding ship.

While not a Sentinel, Zayne was a Jedi Shadow, Council of First Knowledge's next mission was to be a Temple Guard. He was sent to the Temple of Eedit on Devaron. It was a small Jedi temple built on a vergence in the Force. He spent the next five years as a temple guard, with an Eternal Empire attack and siege at one point in the war. In general, guard duty was mundane, but mundane was not a bad thing after all the battles and relic hunting Zayne had being part of. After the war with the Eternal Empire, there was time for meditation and contemplation. The occasional removal of dark side trespassers are the premises.

It also gave Zayne a chance rebuilt his lightsaber, after it was damaged during the battle with a Zakuul walker. He would take his time making new adjustments with him saber to with a look and feel of House of Rist to it. He learned a lot at the House of Rist about being an assassin after being back on Alderaan. And, it would use some parts from the ancient sword he found on Hoth as well. It was all be knowledge he would use in rebuilding he saber.

After his time as a temple guard was done, Zayne continued to serve the Council of First Knowledge with fervent devotion to remove the dark side from the galaxy. He was sent after such relics as the holocron of Ajunta Pall, Sith Tremors and Sith Lord's Massassi Ianvarok. Missions on planets like Dromund Kaas to Begeren and Jaguada. At one point, Zayne faked his our death to stop a cabal in the Council of First Knowledge, become it became too big.

Then, when Zayne was officially too old for to be an effective hunter, he trained the next generation of Jedi Shadows. He's been an assassin his whole life, and a relic hurting most of it as well. He would teach his own fighting style to the few Rist Jedi he's run across. Zayne started work on a book other Rist Jedi after his real death.

Zayne was a devoted vessel of The Jedi Council of First Knowledge, striving to remove the darkness from the galaxy. He may have done things that people would consider to be evil, but he did them to make the galaxy a lighter place to live...
