Hoth: Blood and Ice

After Zayne was a part of the team sent to fight the Zakuul walker, he had decided to return to the site of the battle. It was full of the dark side energy, though the battle had happened only yesterday. He'd scene much darkness in his time as a Jedi Shadow. He was not expecting danger, so he was his P-14 Hazardous suit, but he had his sword and shied just in case.

But, this was different. He had used the dark side for the first time to try protect his friend Kat, who was dragging Pipka's body to safely. Zayne knew many of the Council of First Knowledge used the dark side as a means to an end. It would not be an issue at all, if the Council were going to ask about it.

Zayne walked to the site of he and the knight's brief duel, before the Force explosion. He knelt down to meditate for a minute.

After that, he surveyed the battlefield of the power station. There was not a lot left of the Zakuul forces, other than scorch marks and bits of shrapnel survived. He was just trying to find closure to the battle that had eviscerated his lightsaber, or so he thought. There was a cylindrical piece that did not look like shrapnel of Zakuul armor. He walked closer to see that it was something that was damaged, but his lightsaber. Apparently it did not been eviscerated as Zayne had thought. It would need work to get it repaired properly, but he ignited the yellow blade. There were a few scorch marks, but some polishing, they would go away.
