Hoth: Blood and Ice

Things were not going well for Skivulker, not only had they not found the beacon but somehow were now in bondage by the very White Maw they were trying to avoid. They had beaten her and their attentions had left her scarred.

Then they were put in crude but effective cells after stripping them of anything useful; no weapons or equipment and just distant screams and cheers things were looking bleak for the woman. Thankfully she kept her spirits up by thinking what Master Layne would do.

Never give up, protect your friends, and never maim your kin, that last one was just common sense, and should not have to be said. In fact, she would strike that from the list, because it was silly. Any moment now the Republic would come beating those doors down with Master Layne at the lead to beat the pirates.

Of course, they never came, and instead she was brought before the Queen of this place. She was a real jerk, and then the miracle happened. She noticed the strange Duros from the Turtle she was going to wave but the White Maw pirate kicked her into the pit! It was rude and painful.

There were real corpses down here!

Wait that was Vilhelm and Bes, oh poor guys… and then the wampa roared! It chased her around the pit, as if playing with her. She tried to evade it but took a powerful paw to the face nearly knocking her silly. The beast was powerful and towered over her.

Her anger was growing, fueled by the fear of death, of losing everything she could hold dear. It came at her, but something unexpected happened, she tapped into her anger and she felt power, so much unlimited power! One minute the wampa was poised to take over and now she was the strong one.

The creature smoked as she got to her feet.

The Pirate Queen was impressed, Skivulker was impressed… a new champion of the pit was born.

If only Master Layne had seen how cool she was.
