Lets say they can ignore time slots equal to Brawn before that sets in.

Regarding supplies like food and other nescessities: are characters responsible for providing that (thus we should reserve some of our funds to cover it), or is it just handwaved?

There will be "adequate" food stuffs in the form of long term and nutritious military rations, Imperial and Republic, what it lacks in flavor it makes up for in longevity. It may be prudent to have some rations on hand for any adventures but we won't be tracking food usage that closely.

Do sidekicks/apprentices get an allotment of credits for their personal gear or a signature item? I think my old one got a lightsaber back on Ziost.... iirc.

Not sure if it was covered somewhere already but may we purchase items before game start? I assume at normal prices.

Will we have to worry about supplying like thermal cloaks to any crew or allies we have?

Guess I'll add onto this

Are we able to remove mods from armour/weapon and put it into another one?

If we acquire any Strain while modding before game starts does that just go away since it could have been done at any time between games or will the Strain carry into the start of the game?

In general you can purchase items before game start.

NPCs, allys and such, have the minimal equipment to survive for themselves. No they won't give it to you they need it to survive.

You start the game with the strain loss, as for moving mods... it probably depends on the mod.

I also have a question about pregame purchases. Is there a rarity cap? I asked here about a nice pair of refined Cortosis Gaunts. I really feel like they'd pull her ensemble together :D
