Opening Ship Combat Planning Thread

Dapper has given us notice that an opening event will include ship combat with a limit of four ships.

I figured it would make sense for people with ships to mention their interest or lack thereof before we get started.

I believe I speak for the Turtle crew to say that we are happy to throw our hat in the ring.

My ship is standard and I have subpar flying skills. This is not my strong suit.

If someone needs someone to throw a leadership roll as part of a ship crew or something I might be able to be of assistance for a Sith ship.

My ship is nothing special. The only thing I can help with on a ship is as a mechanic.

No one should let Omandri near a cockpit or Turret but he's got 1p4a1b mechanics roll with toolkit and possible 6 int for computers related stuff if people need a crew member

I mean, I'd much rather we have a small, well armed ship than a bulky freighter with one autoblaster.

Yep. Never did any modifications to it.

And other dedicated pilots will be better than me. But I could ride along with someone who has space and use battle meditation.

Looks like the big bottleneck for now is pilots and gunners. I know having a pilot also doing the gunning is rough, so it seems like (for now) we'd have 2 pilots in Arsele and Zaybe, and 2 gunners in Jan and Garth, then Bellious wherever we need her with those.

Also, most of the smaller ships will probably only have 1 slot for crew, so pilot/gunner is the only option.

Jan’s ship is the Bottom Line. A Gozanti class light cruiser.

We have 6 weapons available (two quad lasers, four twin heavy laser cannons) for gunners.

Otherwise it’s a silhouette 5 speed 3 ship with abysmal handling, 5 armour and a decent chunk of hitpoints.
