There were many downsides of preferring to remain at your ship. The biggest upside however is most had flocked to the barracks, leaving the hanger almost empty except for Ships. Aphr, remaining on her ship, had locked her doors and after making sure she was indeed alone returned to a room where she could watch and listen out for anyone trying to access it. It wasn't the first time she had done something like this in her life, but this time felt far more dangerous. More risks. But potentially bigger rewards...

Sitting down in the middle of her room on the ship, she took a deep breath and focused her mind...

"Welcome back, savage. Have something useful?" she responded.

"Really, still savage? And to think I even spoke to your mother today for you" Aphr said with a small shake of her head "within a day as well."

"Capable savage," she replied.

"An upgrade I guess."

Aphr kept her sigh internal. She wasn't entirely convinced that the woman couldn't kill her from wherever she was.

"Anyway, yes. She is here on this planet. Hiding among the people, and pretty well hidden I must say, I didn't sense a thing. She is aware you're here, she knows you're coming for her. I think if she had a capable ship she would be running already. Thankfully she won't be running, not yet anyway, and she told me a lot. About you, your brothers, and the Eternal Empire. It all sounds very...fascinating."

“Yes, I am aware, some conflict with the pirates and two savage powers, irrelevant. Mother knows she can’t run, and that part is what matters. I am in no hurry, I will give her a Cycle to face me,” she responded.

“Thirty of your savage days.”

"What happens after 30 days? You come to get her?" Aphr asked

"Yes and anyone that gets in my way," she replied.

"I'd appreciate the heads up so I can avoid being in the way" Aphr commented with a small chuckle "I have been helpful after all!. However I'm sure it won't come to that. I'll just have to subtly push her in the correct direction."

She paused, and then continued "may I ask you a question?"

Let's hope this doesn't go wrong...

"I only ask this because it's something I saw in my visions and your mother didn't believe it to be possible...Is Emperor Valkorian dead?"

"Father is missing," she said casually. "Dead or not I don't care."

"One cycle, savage."

She ends the link.

Well she didn't kill me, I'll take that as a win.

Aphr sighed softly, standing up.

"30 days and counting. Guess I better get to work."

Stretching, she decided to stay in her ship for the night. Loading up her datapad before sleeping so she could set a countdown going in the background.
