A young woman in armor, her helmet set to the side, rested against the outside of a
nondescript Imperial freighter. Her dark red braid was undone and draping forward over one shoulder nearly to her waist. As Moyr passed in front of her, she raised her thermos slightly in greeting with a simple, "Afternoon." She could stop or pass as she willed.

"Can you tell?" Moyr looked up to the icy ceiling. Her helmet was likewise off, letting lekku free, though a thermal cloak was wrapping her silhouette. She raised the bottle while looking at the thermos. "Shall we mix?"

The redhead broke out in a good-natured laugh. "Fair point! Sure. Hot and alcoholic sounds like a great plan about now. Let'suse the thermos, keepit warm a little longer." She took a swig to make room, sucked in a breath as she burned her tongue a little, then held out the thermos. "Hope you like spicy tea. Should go well with whiskey."
Smiling, she added. "Luth Khalan. Nice to meet you."

"Bellious." Moyr nodded in greeting, uncorked the bottle and reached out to pour generously into the thermos. "You are Baras' apprentice, right? I am sure we share a few acquaintances."

She screwed the cap back on and shook the thermos. "Et voila." Pouring some of the resulting mix into the built in cuo, she then handed it over to Moyr.
"That's me. Baras' ghost," she agreed. Her tone was noncommittal, stating a fact with neither pride nor shame. "It's entirely possible. I know a couple of his former apprentices."

Moyr accepted the cup and gulped it, savouring the concoction for a silent moment, then returned it. "Well, I know them too. I can even say I have a history with some of them." She mused. "It seems that with you Baras' apprentice retention rate has starkly improved, however."

"A history, huh? I have a little bit of that, as well," she agreed. "I was there for their initial attempt against him. Lessons were learned that night. On all sides, I suspect."

"Ah, peace negotations. The best of times, the worst of times. First assignment when I could prove my mettle as a Sith Lord, find my purpose even. There are quirky similarities between then and now."

"There are. Many memorable faces. It's a strange world... Or perhaps not strange at all, if the disruptions in the Force are anything to go by." She replied, taking a long drink with a satisfied sigh at the end. "The whiskey was an excellent idea."
"Finding one's purpose. There is that. It was the first time the future knocked at my door like a horror holovid monster telling the final girl to let it in. Did you find your purpose in the end?"

"Finding it was just the beginning." Moyr mused, nodding in agreement about the whiskey. "What disruptions do you have in mind?"

"Isn't it just? One has to be wise enough not to deny the signs when one sees where their destiny is going, too."
"It feels like something's... coming. A colorless disruption. And a vision of three stars and a destructive war," She replied before taking another drink. "I haven't been able to get much more than that... Yet, anyway. So many people who know each other coming together on what should have been a minor expedition under those circumstances feels... Yeah."

"I think I know more. But until I can get a few things confirmed, I am reluctant to sputter nonsense. What I can say is that if I am correct, our enemy here and beyond here is more serious than those pirates by many orders of magnitude. And the place we are in is actually a trap."

"I think we're on the same page on that," she agreed. "In both statements."

"I wouldn't be opposed then to forming an exploratory group. I'd rather check what's coming."

She nodded, considering. "I was supposed to look into it. No reason not to share information. This concerns everyone in the end. Anyone else you had in mind for this group?"

"Some old acquaintances from Korriban times, regardless of their later walks of life. One of them has even turned an Alderaanian noble. It was satisfying to meet him earlier today after all those years and see that our mindset on many issues is still quite alike."

The only person she could think of that fit the description of Korriban to Alderaan noble was... "Ah, I know who you mean. That's fine."

"I surmised you'd say that." Moyr chuckled. "Shall we go in one or a few ships? Mine is shaken up a bit after pirate onslaught, but still working fine."

"Really depends on how noticeable you want to be and how much you want to concentrate," she replied. A hand rises to her face, covering her lips with two fingers, then she drops it, shaking her hand out. "More ships are more obvious, but if one gets shot down, not everyone will be left stranded."
Luth was all about practicality.

"Let's make it two then, a fighter and a freighter. I want to do some surface scans."

"Sounds good. I have access to the Nighthawk on request," she jerked her thumb at the ship she leaned against. "And I'm a decent pilot these days. So I'm happy to help with that as needed."
