"I'm up for going out there too. Don't know what the Empire is bringing to the table, but we have a personal kolto tank for anyone that ends up in critical condition. I'm guessing we might need it, after losing the big ships there probably aren't many around down here."

"Why, we weaken ourselves by saving those that were better off being food for the predators," she responded as she ate.

"Waste of limited resources. Let them freeze to death, we can take what we need from their corpses."
"Because people are resources too. Never waste someone that can be useful. We don't want to be stuck in here with mostly pilots and few other specialists."

At the mention of the lost in the wilderness, Aurilie tensed and quickly gave a look around the room. Was everyone accounted for? She supposed everyone from the Rimma was here and there were a few familiar faces. What of the others? The ones she hadn't been acquainted with?

...She supposed some of the Empire too.

She was not going to allow others to waste away in the cold and succumb to hypothermia. Not to mention the potential predators too.

"Galen, I know you're more than capable of handling the search but I think you'd appreciate some numbers in the effort to cover more ground. I'd be more than willing to help. Actually, I insist." She wasn't going to be turned away.

"Pathetic, but I suppose it makes sense," she responded. "Not sure how much ground we can cover in that blizzard though."

Shyyyo committed to playing the part of the mysterious masked man... and so committed he would stay even as a burgeoning feeling of cooperation overcame the room.

He continued to watch quietly. Observing the room... while trying to push images from his mind of a blue lightsaber severing a leg in the heat of Nal Hutta.

"Every pair of hands will translate to more resources in the long run than anything we could take off their corpses. Strategic planning of expeditions reduces wear further. Short term thinking is a worse liability than them."

"I really like that idea. I've got an adequate set of eyes and an acute desire to move." She said despite knowing what awaits outside.

She nodded at Luth. "We'll have to lay down our differences sooner or later. I suggest sooner, and I'm ready to lead by example."
She gave a small smile to Breela and nodded. "Excellent, I agree entirely. We lose less the sooner we set aside factionalism. There will be plenty of time for it when we're not trying to survive on a giant ice cube."

Darth Bellious took a step toward the blue-red group, wondering who of all the familiar faces would notice her first.

"I don't care if most of them make it, good for them if they do. But having more bodies with more blasters in hand when the pirates come knocking would also likely help. That helps maximize my chance to survive and get back to the people that matter to me. Or did we all assume the pirates were going to ignore us while we try to figure a way out?" Zeno asks in a light-hearted tone.

Then he looks to Moyr. "Your thoughts?" he inquires, honestly curious.

"That works for me," Breela nodded. "Is there anything else that can be done in the interim? Are we ready to talk about the power grid or are the engineers still accessing?"

She sighs wearily at Zeno but stays quiet.

Layne had been listening here and there; she'd had a mind to lecture the young sith she'd rescued about the *value* in saving people who'd otherwise just be predator food... but Zeno's argument was more likely to work on her and pre-empted anything she could say anyway.

From the sidelines, a tall lean figure just observed. He liked to observe after all. Covered in full enviro-suit, it would seem that these figure was just another alien worker from some of ship, the only detail that didn't fit with that sort of theory was the massive weapon, a crossguarded lightsaber that he was carrying on the belt of his suit.

Was he a jedi? a sith? Who knows...

In any case, this picture was so entertaining for him. The ironies of the Force. Mortal enemies side by side...

and of course, so many people that might know him...

And so the Ice is broken

The Jedi busied herself handing out drinks and greeting those who would address her until people were comfortable enough to handle it themselves. While she did that while the discussions were well under way and she was sure she had missed some of the details

Except one

She heard Zeno pronounce Moyr's name and something in her chest made a large knot.

Composing herself she turned around to see.

Luth's eyes landed on another former Sith. Oh. Awkward.

She sees another Jedi she did not recognize, standing within the crowd. She scans for more and goes back and the woman is gone.
Blinking, Kat turned her head a few times more, trying to see if the woman disappeared somewhere... but she knew in her heart that she wouldn't see her. At least not now. It was a sign of sorts.

As always, the Force liked to keep things vague. Master Resmi had certainly gotten that right. She let the awkward reunions continue undisturbed, as she let her senses extend through the Force. Perhaps she could sense something here that she was supposed to find? Kat doubted it would be that easy, but Master Syo had always reminded her to heed the calls of the Force...

She couldn't be *certain* that eyes had fallen on her, of course... though one might have a sense about these sorts of things despite the presence of the mask that also hid the identity of the one behind it.

So instead she stared back, and cocked her head as if to ask 'sup?' without actually asking it.

She continued, “Sith, best put out of zhe mind any talk of weakness, lest I put a boot to that busted leg of yours. Don’t zhink I did not see zhat Jedi and soldiers escort you in. Zhink on zhat mercy eh? We need to clean out zhe hangar before we began any maintenance operations on what few ships we have.”

Galen was distracted for a moment. Once Moyr had approached, he'd begun to look around the room, searching for something or someone. Not finding what he wanted to, he nodded to the others.

"In a few hours then."

Aurilie frowned at this. Not that there was a lot of light to work worth but they did have a closing window when the cold was not kind with time. However, she wasn't going to drag many people on her own. She nodded once on a dire note. "Time is of the essence."

It'd take a moment, but she'd remember the woman alright. The woman who was there when they confronted Baras. The woman who showed up on Bankor right after she'd connected with him through the Force. The woman who was here now, again, with Baras. Proving Layne's initial suspicions of her back on Bankor right after all?

"...You should've taken me up on my offer, Luth."

There was a hint of sadness in her expression. Damn it. Sometimes the whole jedi thing about not jumping to conclusions and trying to be *trusting* really was an inconvenience, wasn't it? Should've listened to that instinct after all. Maybe then she could've done something about it, instead of walking away; focused on her own business; and seeing another someone fallen to the lies of the Sith.
