Adjacent to the hangar area of this abandoned structure, this is the de facto meeting area and sleeping area if power is ever disrupted allowing several hundred people to sleep on the floor in relative discomfort. An easily configurable area for eating or large gatherings but very utilitarian and lacking in aesthetic appeal.

This area is now better organized and more comfortable for sleeping or doing work. Due to renewal and work by many of the members of the joint Echo Base detachment they even find that there used to be a kitchen and mess hall that could be utilized.

Tent City: As of Day 6 there is now a sprawling tent city over much of the common area for makeshift housing for the refugees from Junk Town.
