"It prob'ly don' go too far wi'out legs?" Garth suggested without malice but a healthy dose of practicality.

"They made it out of combat," Garth confirmed. "Nudi plotted a different path t' surface though. But he's one th' better jockey's ah've met sure'n they're fine."

"Startin' t' think ah should've left the missus at home fer this mission though."

"Frakkk." Garth groans. "Just as well ah guess, one more stupid answer an' ah were gonna reprogram it with a blaster bolt."

Garth felt a killer headache coming on that paralleled the worst G forces he'd ever experienced.

"Yellow parallel requests expanded definition of his classification.?" The pilot asks tentatively even as he glances between the others present.

Harth just shakes his head in frustration.

"An' peep' say ah talk odd." He mumbles to himself before composing himself and trying something he'd heard Jenkins ask once.
"Can...you...run...self...diagnostic...for...internal...ststem...damage?"

"Hey now, no one black circulars MAH pink secant 'cept mah wife." Garth retorts pointing a finger accusingly at the droid.

"Makes sense, ah ain't seen that type of ind'vidual fighter craft before. Whoever's fittin' 'em out gots some talent."

"Take care out there in the wilds m'kay lots of stuff hides in the dark."

"Greetings silver rhombus. Good t' see somethin' round here still has power." Garth replies, completely oblivious to any correllation between the weird form address.

Garth had gotten lost already. He'd been running around the base, looking for his friends....and ran into the distinct opposite.

"Sorry folks. Geez we all picked a right death trap t' land in amirite?"

"Yeah, she's a lil shook up. Too used t' space battles in 'er comfy officers chair o' late. What of you? Ah've heard some didn' 'ave so gentle a landing?"

"Ah though improvin' the lives of th' indig'nous life force were totes a Jedi thing ol' friend." Garth laughs before his face turned a little serious.

"Someone had t' buy time fer those escape pods t' reach atmo' or them a-holes woulda jus' blown y'all outta the sky."

"These pirates must be some'n extra then?" Garth mused. "I don' think the Senator was expectin' negotiations t' be this aggressive though, or she would'a brought more ships. Did they announce how many we lost?"

"Mah wife is XO on th' Tenacity, ah'm certain we could put in a good word fer yer products to not just the Alderaanians but th' general Republic Navy." Garth conceded to the point. The panic in Garth's voice is obvious, as he hadn't seen any obvious Imperials yet.

He nodded. "Hung around as long as w' could up there. Kept th' pirates away from most o the civilians before we headed down. The Valiant didn't make it though...and another capital ship as well. Weren't one o' ours though."

"Miyi's takin' it easy onboard but hopef'lly she'll be better t'mortow."

As one guest exited, another entered.

"There y' are cousin. Ah'm glad t' see y' found yer way here safe enough." Garth headed towards Kat with the intention to offer her a hug of relief.
